What is your biggest career highlight?

Being an Academic All-American and First Team All ACC.

Who is your favorite major league baseball player? Currently? All time?

Currently – Jacoby Ellsbury and Carlos Beltran. They are fun to watch and have similar games.

How do you feel about being a part of the New York Yankees organization?

It is the most historic franchise and a huge honor.

In your career thus far, have you met or been coached by any famous athletes?

Davey Johnson coached my college summer ball team. He has had the biggest impact on my baseball career.

If you could play catch with anyone (alive or deceased), who would it be?

Mickey Mantle.

Have you played any other sports?

Basketball since I was 6 and through high school.

What is your most memorable moment in baseball as a player?

Winning an ACC Championship.

What was the biggest challenge/obstacle you’ve ever faced?

Getting mononucleosis the middle of my senior year at GT.

My Dad was an incredible role model.
