Thank you Thursday – 3.25.13
On March 4th, we announced the start to the Staten Island Yankees “Thank you Thursday” campaign. Since Hurricane Sandy devastated many Staten Island residents in October 2012, the Staten Island Yankees are proud to announce that they have donated $11,167 to the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation. The donations will benefit those that have been adversely impacted by the devastation wrought by Hurricane Sandy on the New York City and New Jersey coastlines.
The help doesn’t stop there. The Staten Island Yankees also donated $10,000 in Shop Rite gift cards to families in Staten Island affected by Hurricane Sandy and an additional $30 to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation due to the Staten Island Yankees fans support of the 2013 season with plan sales in past 2 weeks. The grand total to date donated to helping make a difference in the lives of many Staten Island families affected by Hurricane Sandy by the Staten Island Yankees is $21,197.
Stay tuned for additional Thank you Thursday posts where we will highlight a number of loyal season ticket holders on the official Staten Island Yankees blog that will include interesting facts and feedback on their experience at Richmond County Bank Ballpark.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for your support of the Staten Island Yankees and helping make a difference in the lives of many affected by Hurricane Sandy.
